Glèlè Kpododji or Glèlè's exterior courtyard is a waiting area and meeting place. It contains three parts: the Honnouwa, entrance porch and main access to the palace. Giving onto Singbodji Square it was guarded by sentries and frequented by numerous spies. the Jonnonho, a reception hall for important foreign visitors. the Logodo, entrance porch to the second interior courtyard of the palace. People requesting an audience with the King were selected here.
