Training and Research Department

E-mail CO2 impact: is printing this article really necessary?

Background:
At the origin of EPA, the Training and Research Department, until 1999, exclusively dealt with the conception and carrying out of training programmes in the field of movable cultural heritage for African museum professionals.
Since 1999, the year in which the PREMA programme ended, training programmes took a new direction with the diversification of subjects. Management of cultural projects, outreach programmes, and the management of immovable cultural heritage progressively entered EPA's curriculum.
The training of teachers is a key programme in the strategy of reinforcement of EPA's capacities as a center of excellence in the cultural area.
The Research section is an important aspect of the new orientations of the department.
